Google Maps

I got an e-mail from Google recently for the high rate of views on photo’s I added to the map.

As you can see below some of the photo’s I added to the map, and I have only 36 photo’s on there.  As a result they have been viewed over 450 000 times.

What an excellent way to have your business stand out on the map, contact for additional information on how your business can become listed with a stand out photo like below for your business.

Look forward to hearing from you soon,

David.

David Gadreau Photography is proud to announce the purchase of new studio lights (for any name brand lover, they are ProFoto).  The quality of them is amazing and I am still in awe of what they are capable of lighting.  Below are a few ‘selfies’ using the lights.

I look forward to shooting as many people using the new lights as possible, as they are a complete joy and pleasure to work with!

See you soon,

Welland Jr. Canadiens vs. Fort Erie Meteors in Fort Erie

I haven’t been to any hockey games for quite a while so I stopped in to see Welland vs. Fort Erie Saturday February 6, 2016.  I can’t see the Port Colborne Pirates play any more since they moved to Pelham when the Niagara Whalers took over Vale centre.

So being that it’s been a long time and remembering how Fort Erie used to play it was pretty surprising and impressive to see that Fort Erie got the win!  They managed the win in regular time with a final score of 4 to 3.

There was even a fight that broke out and they ejected a player out of the game for “roughing after the whistle”.  Mind you there were some calls in the game that left you wondering what’s going on like too many men on the ice.  I guess you best get off the ice before you send a new player out there.

Anyways here are a few shots from the game:

Happy New Year 2016

Happy New Year to everyone and welcome to 2016!  I hope everyone had an excellent and safe Holiday.  Look forward to hearing how it was!  Feel free to contact us and show your favourite pictures from the Holidays!

We look forward to working with you this year to capture some new memories!

Algonquin Camera Club

I had a chance to stop in the Algonquin Camera Club as a guest speaker.  I chose the topic of landscapes and selected a few images to share with the club.  As I spoke to the club the images were being shown behind me to show the members what I’ve created as I was talking.  It was an enjoyable time, and the members were all so kind.

So below I included the images for any members that missed the meeting this month.

Also noted at the meeting was that the members are going to do a landscape challenge for next month’s meeting.  Hopefully after speaking to the club they have a new source of inspiration and can get out there and get some great new landscapes.

Good luck and happy shooting!

David.

Business Headshot Portraits

Why do I need a headshot?

Whether you’re a corporate executive, small business person or aspiring musician, your headshot is your logo. As one of your chief marketing tools,  this logo gets you noticed and gets you work by connecting people to your brand through an image of you that reveals your personality and conveys your approachability, friendliness and professionalism. You only get once chance to make a first impression. Why not make one that people will remember?

What is a great headshot?

A great headshot isn’t just a photograph taken with expensive equipment; it relies instead on a combination of the lighting, poses, expressions and compositions that bring out your personality naturally. To look natural, you need to feel comfortable. Only you can bring your personality to the shoot, but a great headshot photographer, like David Gadreau, can spot it, capture it and ensure it comes through in the final product. Throughout your session, David knows how to help you relax, positioning you towards the camera in genuine form, and most importantly what to say to evoke those warm, spontaneous expressions that make your personality shine through the lens.

Contact David Gadreau Photography today for your chance to create your own business logo.
