With police and law enforcement coming under increasing fire for a handful of highly publicized cases of police brutality, WDCX Radio and the Crawford Broadcasting Company prepare to launch ‘Props to Cops!’
WDCX General Manager Brett Larson announces ‘Props to Cops’ a month-long campaign –beginning July 1st- designed to thank the men and women who risk so much to make our lives safer. “Law enforcement represents the thin blue line that exists between us and chaos,” Larson says. “Everyone is against police brutality, but we are proud to say we are 100% FOR law enforcement!”
110,000 watt super-station 99.5 FM WDCX (reaching Buffalo NY, Erie PA, and Toronto ON), WDCD-AM 970 (Buffalo NY/Toronto ON) and WDCX-AM 990 (Rochester NY) is joining hands with local businesses to celebrate law enforcement during the month of July.

Larson says the stations are teaming up with local businesses that agree to offer goods and services to police officers and other members of law enforcement during the month of July. “Whether it’s a free cup of coffee or 50% off a meal or whatever a business chooses to offer to cops, we are not afraid to express our gratitude and say that we stand behind, those who protect us. We will interview police officers from all over Western New York and Southern Ontario and offer opportunities for listeners to thank police for the ways they have benefited as a result of police presence in our communities.”
